The eDAY was originally planned as an onsite event with an optional streaming component for online viewers. The invitations, designed in the FLAVE system and including a link to the registration page, had been sent to all WKO members, and the programme and planning were in place. Everything was ready for a safe 2G check-in of guests via our check-in solution. Then the fourth wave hit, and with our help the WKO moved the event into virtual space for participants in the short time remaining.
With its short-notice switch from hybrid to online, the eDAY proved one of the great strengths of hybrid events: flexibility.
